I am a free lance writer living in Austin, Texas who is taking a temporary vacation from work to pursue my writing.  I have been employed as a legal assistant and have over 15 years of experience in the field.  My husband is an attorney and we have been happily married for 15 years and been fortunate enough to see much of the world. Texas is my adopted state as I was born and raised in the Big Easy, New Orleans, and have never drifted from that laid back, mellow lifestyle which I consider to be ideal.  I have two college degrees in English Literature and Education and am fluent in Spanish.  My hobbies include watching forensic shows, reading, travel and attending cultural events.  I also enjoy writing blogs on a variety of topics and participating in social networking activities such as on Linkin.com.
